Paul Lisak & After The Ice are now regularly aired on the ABC network show “Fame Games”, reaching out to millions of listeners across 20 different radio stations in the USA and Europe. This has culminated in Paul Lisak winning the prestigious category of “Best Male Vocalist” in the “Fame Games” annual “Effigy Awards”. The video clip that accompanied the band’s debut single “It Happens All The Time” has also been played on MTV Europe, Asia, and TVN Asia. The Internet is fast becoming the main battle ground. The official website of Paul Lisak & After The Ice was recently awarded the “Best independent band website” award by the TANGC group. This award was given due to its innovative interactivity, like the Music Mixer, where fans can create their own songs using some of the band’s signature styles, and the Dungeon Gallery, where “brave explorers” can discover Paul Lisak’s paintings, and other surprises currently being developed. Their EP has also clocked up more than 55000 listeners in Jamendo with an average score of 8.8 in 72 reviews. Adding to the Warner deal, an agreement has been signed with QPR Football club for the band to perform pre-match gigs until the end of the Coca-cola Championship season in May 2010. The club was recently acquired by Bernie Ecclestone (Formula 1 Suprimo), Flavio Briatore(Benetton & Chairman) and Mittal. The stadium holds a capacity of 20000 (twenty thousand) people. We believe that these shows will enable the band to widen its fan base by have direct access to its target demographic and push both UK sales and their media and press profile. This will be achieved by promoting the band to the 40K strong QPR fans using the club’s various communication outlets, ie web sites, stadium advertising boards, newsletters and the band’s publicity flyers which will be given out with tickets purchased for the season’s matches. Following a line-up change with a new drummer (Tomek) and the addition of a keyboard player, to create a more distinctive sound, the band have gone from strength to strength culminated in these deals. The band will continue to work alongside JMG who have planned a series of high profile shows, a 2nd tour of the UK’s 02 Academy, a new album, which will be recorded in January 2010, and a return to Asia, where the band came of age.
